I’m a big fan of flower crowns, especially for weddings. They’re an easy way to add a little bit of glamour to your look and they make you feel like a princess! If you want to wear one as a wedding headpiece, here are some ideas:

1. Loose braid with flower crown
To create this look, start by braiding your hair into a loose braid. Now you’ll want to secure the braid with one or two hair ties (I used two). This will keep it from falling out as you work on the rest of your style. Take a strand of hair from either side of your head and cross them over each other about an inch away from where they meet in the middle. Then twist those strands together and wrap them around themselves to make a decorative knot at the base of your head.
Next, take some flowers from your flower crown and pin them onto any empty spaces in your hairstyle so that they stick out randomly throughout it—like little baubles! You can also use ribbon if you prefer something more delicate than real flowers; just make sure it matches well with whatever color scheme is going on with your outfit (and don’t forget to attach it by using double-sided tape). Your flower crown is complete!
2. Dainty side braid with flower crown
To start, let’s create a dainty side braid. Take a small section of hair at the front of your head and braid it in the direction you want your final braid to go. Once you have all of your hair braided, secure it with an elastic band and then tie off with another elastic band just below that one so that there are two elastics on top of each other.

You can use any type of flowers for this; just make sure they’re fresh and haven’t been sitting out too long before using them in your crown (unless you want them to look wilted). The type of hair will depend on how big or small you want your crowns to be—consider using fake eyelashes for extra volume!

This hairstyle is perfect for short hair because all you need to do is pin the flowers in place. It’s also a great way to incorporate your favorite flowers into your look without having too many accessories around your head.

Secure with bobby pins in whatever pattern works best for you (I suggest starting at the center and working outward). You can make variations by changing out the types of flowers or adding more layers!
If you have super thick hair like me, it might be hard to get a crown made entirely out of real flowers. If this sounds like you, try using silk ones instead! They’ll hold up just as well but won’t weigh down your locks quite so much—and they’ll still look just as beautiful!

If you want to incorporate flowers into your veil, try a simple, plain veil for a subtle flower crown look. For a more dramatic look, use a patterned or lace veil.
5. Messy updo with flower crown
This wedding hairstyle is perfect for a bride wanting to look like her hair just fell in place. The messy updo with flower crown looks just as beautiful with a veil as it does without one!
The best thing about this look is that it’s easy to achieve—simply pull your hair back into an elastic band, then use bobby pins to secure the sides of your hair and create volume at the top of your head. You can also use a little hairspray for extra hold. For added texture, add flowers or other embellishments in random places throughout your updo.
